A: You do not have to pay anything for access to GII's web sites.

Q: Does GII provide special discounts?

A: Periodically GII will alert its customers to special offers via its InfoWatch e-mail alert service, though the timing of these offers depends greatly upon the campaign schedules of GII's client publishers (click here to sign up for and customize your InfoWatch updates). Q: How much extra am I paying for publications bought through GII as opposed to directly from the publisher?

A: Absolutely nothing. GII maintains a strict policy of selling publications at the same price offered by the publishers themselves.

Q: What payment options are available for purchases made through GII?

A: GII accepts payment in either US dollars or Japanese yen via check, bank transfer, or credit card. All bank transfer fees must be covered by the customer and shall not be deducted from the invoice.

Q: Is prepayment necessary for orders through GII?

A: Established GII customers receive special priority treatment. In general, first time customers without established GII accounts will be expected to either prepay for their first order or provide a credit card for guarantee until payment can be made via other means. After the first order, when an active GII account has been established, GII customers can expect immediate delivery. In addition our corporate account customers have the added benefit of periodic billing (monthly or quarterly), allowing them to further streamline payment processes.

Q: What is GII's refund/return policy?

A: Due to the nature of information products and the ease with which their value can be transferred, many of GII's client publishers will not accept returns under any circumstances. GII will do their utmost to accommodate return requests and each must be handled on a case-by-case basis. Q: What formats and delivery methods are available through GII?

A: The available formats depend upon the formats that are offered by the publisher. Currently, GII offers publications in PDF, HTML, Plaintext, as well as hard copy.

Q: Does GII perform custom research for its customers?

A: GII does not retain in-house analysts for this purpose. However, with our extensive knowledge of various research providers' areas of expertise, GII is uniquely suited to provide an unbiased and informed recommendation of the right firm or individual analyst for most custom work.

A: Delivery times vary depending upon availability and the location of the supplier in relation to the end-user. In slower cases, hardcopy delivery is made via international courier, which generally takes no longer than 3-4 business days. Many of our products are available for web access or delivery via e-mail. In those cases customers can expect delivery within 24 hours from the time of the order.
