SUMMARY
One of the most talked about events in the cellular world was the emergence of the VoWLAN/Cellular combination handset. But while cellular carriers are anxiously making their plans to trial VoWLAN/Cellular phones and services, it has been a bit unclear on how existing cellular subscribers will respond to such devices. This report attempts to answer that question thru a survey of cellular phone owners that asks questions about their cellular and wireline phone use patterns, as well as questions about the importance of several VoWLAN/Cellular features and benefits. The results give a good view of how a VoWLAN/Cellular handset would be accepted by cellular users.
