SUMMARY
Multiple mobile TV broadcast services were launched in 2006 and more are
coming in 2007. The increased availability of services is bringing mobile TV
broadcasting to more mobile subscribers, some of whom are already subscribing
to the service. Free to air mobile TV broadcast services have seen an even
greater number of viewers.
Lack of spectrum availability is still constraining launches in many
countries, but this situation will continue to improve as analog TV is shutoff
over the next several years.
Five-year forecasts for mobile TV broadcast subscribers, annual average
revenue per user, and revenue is provided.
