SUMMARY

The number of telco TV deployments is rising, and so is the number of telco TV headends. Although many incumbent telcos in North America and Europe have built telco TV headends, there are others in Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East and Africa who have yet to deploy telco TV. Additionally, these incumbents have competitors for broadband services, who also want to offer the triple play and thereby offer more headend opportunities.

This report contains five-year revenue forecasts for several of the equipment and software segments of telco TV headends, including broadcast TV content processing equipment, on-demand content processing equipment, middleware, and content protection. We have also forecast the number of new telco TV headends that will be built each year. All forecasts are divided by region: the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East and Africa.
