SUMMARY

TFT-LCD market based on a demand forecast and capital expenditure trends. This
document includes a forecast of revenue and average selling prices for the
major TFT-LCD panel applications, including LCD monitors, notebook PCs, and LCD

budget ratio change.
"From 2004 to 2009, the TFT-LCD market will increase a total of 58%, to $56
billion. Most notably, revenue in the LCD TV market segment will increase at a
compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 36% and exceed revenue in the notebook
panel market segment in 2005 and LCD monitors in 2007, faster than expected.
Meanwhile, the LCD monitor market will be almost mature by 2007, and the
