SUMMARY
Abstract
This IDC insight will evaluate the role WiMAX will play in the New Zealand
market. An assessment will be made of global WiMAX deployments, before
addressing local market characteristics. A technology and competitor analysis
will be provided, as well as the demand-side drivers for broadband,
particularly WiMAX. Based on the above, a five-year forecast of fixed wireless
broadband, based on different market scenarios, will be outlined.
