SUMMARY
China is currently a major country of automobile production and consumption.
Due to an increase in China's automobile production capacity, and the Chinese
government's efforts to stimulate car electronics demand and improve related
technologies through industry policies, the Chinese car electronics market has
grown dramatically. This report discusses China's policies and regulations on
car electronics such as car safety systems, audiovisual devices, and
navigation systems. Interviews with companies mentioned in this report were a
major source of information for this research. The report will show that low
energy consumption and environmental friendliness will play critical roles in
the future development of China's car electronics market.
